With the summer travel season almost upon us, we always have to make sure we have our essentials when traveling: toothbrush, phone charger, etc… But over the years and countless ‘doh’ moments, we have gotten pretty good at packing our essentials. But what about nonessential essentials? While we could certainly travel without most items in our suitcase, we like to make the most out of our travel and always come prepared with a few extra items that make traveling a bit easier.

I’ve asked our brilliant travel team what are a couple travel essentials they never forget to pack, even in a hurry!

Amy:

  • The perfect water bottle

    • It’s only tragic when you leave it on one of your adventures.

  • Small bills for tipping

  • Google Translate

    • Any translator app really, it’s easy to download and can truly help.

Stephanie G:

  • A good book

    • I recently gave in and got a kindle, it is a game changer for readers on the go.

  • Rechargeable battery pack

  • Bandaids

    • I swear my feet love to hurt only when traveling.

Stephanie B:

  • Passport holder

  • Long Trips - a blanket

    • You never know if you end up with a long delay at the airport and want to stay cozy.

  • Bluetooth headphones
